We are a fellowship of Christians from all denominations concerned with vision, challenge and encouragement in the practical aspects of expressing our Christian faith within a professional context.

We are committed to exercising a prophetic role in present day society where medical, moral and ethical standards are constantly under threat of erosion.

We feel that God has prompted us to listen to the beat of His heart and to speak His mind, whether it be in constructive criticism of the system, or in active energising of those who are sick, down-trodden or broken-hearted and of those who work amongst them. Our members are primarily those working in the caring professions in hospital and community services, e.g. doctors, nurses, professions associated with medicine, social workers, probation officers. But we also include teachers, pastors and ministers and others. Students are particularly welcome.
